Animal Zone International (AZI) is a nonprofit organization based in Amorgos. Its goals are: to protect animals and improve the human–animal relationship through sustainable solutions, to control the stray animal population through systematic spay/neuter programs, and to provide veterinary care to animals in need. At the same time, it provides food and care for stray cats and dogs and promotes adoptions in Greece and abroad.
