The Development Agency of the Dodecanese (ANDO) S.A. was founded in 1993 with its headquarters in Rhodes and operates as a multi-share Development Public and private Company. Its shareholders are the Region and the Regional Union of Municipalities of the South Aegean, the Municipalities of the Dodecanese, the Chamber of Commerce and the Geotechnical Chamber, the Agricultural Cooperative "the Union" and the Environmental Protection Association of the Island of Rhodes. The main purpose of ANDO. S.A. is to promote the sustainable economic, business and social development of the Dodecanese. The company plays a key role in the management and implementation of important European and national financial programs, mainly the LEADER / CLLD programs of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. Through its action, ANDO. S.A. supports local businesses, strengthens small public infrastructure, promotes the protection of the natural environment and highlights the cultural heritage of the Dodecanese.
