The Energy Community is a single-purpose Urban Energy Cooperative
governed by the provisions of Law 4513/2018 and, supplementarily, by those of Law 1667/1986, as amended and currently in force. Its objective is to strengthen the
regulatory framework for Sustainable Development with a balanced socio-economic and environmental orientation, to promote the social and solidarity economy and innovation in the energy sector, to address energy poverty and promote energy sustainability, the production, storage, self-consumption, sale, distribution, and supply of energy, as well as the improvement of energy efficiency in end-use at the local and regional levels.
