THE AGIOS IOANNIS LANDSCAPING AND CULTURAL ASSOCIATION -AGGOURITSA-VASILIKOU KYTHNOU ASSOCIATION, in its 20 years of existence, has made it its primary mission to protect the environment of the small settlement and the broader region of Agios Ioannis, which is of environmental and archaeological significance. In collaboration with other associations, it carries out initiatives for its protection. At the same time, it participates in related lecture series (THEOKTISTA HANDMADE), environmental protection initiatives (DAYS OF DRYSTONE IN THE AEGEAN), and organizes art exhibitions (EDAFI IASIS), photography exhibitions (St. John of Old, Dry-Stone Landscapes, Stairs of Chora, Kythnos), historical lectures, the creation of outdoor free libraries, etc.
