The Salakos Volunteer Disaster Response Team (ETH.OM.AK. SALAKOS) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community and strengthening civil protection at the local and regional levels. The team’s primary objective is prevention, preparedness, immediate response, and support in the event of natural, technological, and man-made disasters, such as fires, floods, earthquakes, and emergencies.

At the same time, ETH.OM.AK. SALAKOU carries out social, cultural, and environmental initiatives, fostering a spirit of volunteerism, social solidarity, and citizen participation. It participates in educational programs, preparedness drills, informational events, cultural activities, and initiatives to protect the natural environment and local cultural heritage.

The team operates in a spirit of cooperation, solidarity, and respect for people and society, with the selfless contribution and active participation of citizens in the protection of life, property, and the local community as its guiding principle.
