EUROPE DIRECT South Aegean is a member of the official network of European Union information centers and operates with the aim of providing citizens with direct information and actively connecting them with the policies, initiatives, and opportunities of the European Union. It is hosted by the Dodecanese Development Agency S.A. (AN.DO.) and operates across all the islands of the South Aegean Region.

The center’s primary goal is to strengthen European participation, democratic awareness, and active citizenship through information, education, and dialogue with citizens. EUROPE DIRECT South Aegean organizes events, seminars, workshops, educational programs, and initiatives for young people, schools, educators, organizations, and local communities, covering topics such as the environment, the digital transition, human rights, equality, entrepreneurship, youth mobility, and European values.

At the same time, it works closely with institutions, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and the media, helping to strengthen the European presence and public dialogue in island Greece.
