HISTORY: Originally an amateur dance group, it has been operating officially as a recognized association (CULTURAL, NON-PROFIT) since 2016.
GOALS: To teach, promote, and perform traditional Greek folk dances. To study and highlight local culture and history. Other broader CULTURAL, SOCIAL, and ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES (Organization of Dance Festivals, 8 to date, with the 9th in preparation). Seminars, Exhibitions, Performances, Presentations, Publications). Participation in relevant Dance Festivals and Seminars, both domestically and internationally. Collaborations with other local/regional socio-cultural organizations, including: collaboration with the UNESCO CLUB OF PIRAEUS & THE ISLANDS, the CYCLADES ARCHAEOLOGICAL SERVICE, the SOUTH AEGEAN REGION, AEGEAN, the MUNICIPALITY OF MYKONOS, the HOLY METROPOLIS OF SYROS, local associations, etc.
