Our Association serves as a vibrant hub of culture, tradition, and community service on our island. Our goal is to preserve and promote our local heritage, strengthen our sense of community, and create opportunities for participation for people of all ages.
Our major annual events play a central role in our activities: the Fisherman’s Festival, held on the last Saturday of May, aimed at showcasing the island’s rich fishing tradition; the feast of Saint George, the island’s patron saint, which unites the community in a grand celebration of faith and tradition; as well as the Christmas Village, a series of events and activities for all ages. At the same time, we organize the annual “Trechadeerakia” charity Xmas Run, which bridges volunteering, sports, and giving, fostering a spirit of solidarity in action.
Through cultural workshops, social initiatives, and volunteer activities, we continue—with respect for our roots and an open eye toward the future—to create moments that unite, inspire, and leave a positive mark on our community.
