The Rhodes Animal Welfare Association has been active on the island of Rhodes since 1990. It is involved in rescuing stray animals, adoptions, legal advice, reporting cases of abuse, support in cases of abuse, court appearances, presentations at schools as part of an education and awareness program for students, and other activities related to the welfare of stray and domesticated animals. The Association takes on cases and protects all types of animals: companion animals (cats, dogs), equines (horses, donkeys), farm animals, and others.
