The Social Inclusion Observatory monitors collects, measures and provides documentation of the specific characteristics and parameters of poverty and social exclusion in the South Aegean Region.
Through socio-economic researches, coordinated actions and with the participation of all the municipalities of the region the Observatory helps the development of social cohesion and the improvement of life quality of the residents and the visitors of the islands of the South Aegean Region.

THE OBSERVATORY

Although compared to the past, the world wealth has increased in absolute numbers there is still a big percentage of the world population that still suffers from the absence of the necessary resources, food materials and services in order to live properly. This circumstance has deteriorated from the recent economic crisis and has become even worse from the world health crisis, which has affected the whole humanity.
