The Regional Social Inclusion Observatory of the South Aegean launches the Social Observatory Hub, a unified digital space for networking, collaboration, and showcasing the work of associations, societies, and entities across all the islands of the Region.
Following a series of digital tools developed by the Social Inclusion Observatory and recognizing the need for a unified digital space where Associations, Societies, and other Civil Society entities from all over the South Aegean can gather, we are pleased to inform you that we are launching a new online platform, the Social Observatory Hub of the Region of South Aegean.
The goal of this new digital platform is to help strengthen networking and collaboration among various initiatives, showcase their work, and overcome challenges faced by this particular Region, such as islandness (insularity).
The platform is aimed both at associations, societies, cooperatives, and organizations operating in this specific area, as well as entities based outside the Region (e.g., Attica) that, nevertheless, implement programs and actions in the South Aegean.
In this context, eight (8) specific thematic sections have been integrated into the platform to make it easier for the user. These thematic sections are:
- Blood Donation – Health – Care
- Culture & Intangible Heritage
- Cooperatives, Mental Health Social Cooperatives (KOISPE) & Social Cooperative Enterprises (KoinSEp)
- Civil Protection
- Women’s Associations
- Environment & Sustainability
- Youth Associations
- Our Friends, the Animals
Through the Social Observatory Hub, you can navigate the interactive map, discover which entities are active on each island, filter your search based on the thematic categories that interest you, submit a request, look for information, and much more.
Additionally, if you are an entity or represent an association or collective body, you can:

This will allow you to increase your social impact and build collaborations with other entities.
