Online meeting on Accessible and Sustainable Tourism

The Observatory of Social Inclusion of the South Aegean is holding an online informative meeting on “Accessible and Sustainable Tourism on the islands of the South Aegean”. The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00.

Accessibility is a topical issue in an eminently touristic region like the South Aegean that concerns local communities in terms of decision-making and implementing necessary measures. Accordingly, in recent years, the discussion has been expanding around sustainable tourism development models for medium-long-term and strategic planning in this sector. The aim of the meeting is to highlight good practices in tourism as well as challenges through discussion.
