Report of the Open Day 07.04.2021

The 1st Open Day of the Regional Social Inclusion Observatory of the South Aegean has been successfully completed.

On Wednesday, April 7 at 13:00, the online event – open day with the theme “The Regional Observatory of Social Inclusion of the South Aegean as a lever for promoting social cohesion with the use of new technologies” organized by the Observatory and the technology company Crowdpolicy was held with great success.

 

 

The aim of the Open Day was to present the project, inform the public about the operation of the Observatory in a way accessible to all, stress the importance of Social Cohesion and the role of the Observatory, promote new technologies as a tool for interconnection and better governance, inform about the projects of the new Operational Program of the South Aegean Region in the social sector, disseminate the results of the social-economic surveys to the wider public, inform about the operation of the Social Inclusion Observatory and the Internet Portal and highlight good practices of agencies and services. More than 120 people participated in the Open Day, some of whom watched it on the Crowdpolicy Facebook page.

 

Ms. Haroula Giasirani, Deputy Regional Governor of Health, Welfare, Social Care and Social Groceries of the Dodecanese, and Mr. Charalambos Darzentas, Deputy Regional Governor of Health, Welfare, Social Care and Social Groceries of the Cyclades participated in the Open Day and addressed a short greeting, pointing out the importance of promoting innovation and good governance practices in tackling poverty and strengthening social cohesion.
