On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the Social Inclusion Observatory visited the Municipality of Kea and held discussions with representatives of the Community Center, the Support Association of the ‘Erasistratos’ Multipurpose Regional Medical Center of Kea, the Kea Hiking Team, as well as the Association ‘Karthaia’.
Through this discussion, we had the opportunity to re-record the opportunities and challenges related to social inclusion, within the framework of the Observatory’s annual studies, while also gaining a deeper insight into the initiatives and dynamic presence of local civil society. The active participation of associations and local entities highlights the significant contribution of civil society toward improving the quality of life, strengthening social cohesion, and fostering a more inclusive local environment.
